Shimon Zarfati / In the dark, It’s just you and I

In the last decade or so, the fashion market in Israel has become much more aware and willing towards international luxury brands. Though the big brands still attract most of the shoppers, it seems that in the last few years the smaller brands and the upcoming designers are getting the appropriate recognition and respect (and cash register activity) they deserve. When it comes to menswear however, things are slightly different, with a much more limited offering.

One of the very few to dare bring interesting menswear to Israel is Shimon Zarfati, the owner of L’etranger in Lilenbloum street – one of the finest menswear boutique around. After proving his excellent buying skills and gaining a notable amount of dedicated customers, Zarfati is finally taking his first steps as a designer.
