Eran Shanny / Bug a Boo

by hommegrown | 26.11.13

In many fields, Israeli talent has a tendency to spread its wings in search of a more fertile ground. The Israeli fashion scene, as evolved as it might be in the last few years, is no exception to that phenomenon. One of these talented Israelis is Eran Shanny, a recent graduate of the Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts, who is currently working on his MA collection.

Shanny’s approach to menswear is very different than anything that could be found in the Israeli market. It represents the immense void of the “non-commercial” approach in the local fashion industry. One that should not be overlooked by a city that insists on having two separate fashion weeks and wishes to gain international recognition.

All clothes by Eran Shanny
